July 13, 2010. We have non-professional driver’s license already :D But I can’t drive yet. I have to learn again. It’s been a while since the last time I drove a car.

We got our licenses from Car-car Cebu because… err. HAHA. Secret! So, we had lunch at the nearest and most convenient fast-food restaurant, Jollibee. But since Car-car is well-known for Chicharon, we bought 1/4 kilo and ate it at Jollibee. But we also oredered there of course :D

While waiting for the time, I played with my camera. It’s been a while since the last time I played with it D:

Haha. Obviously, I got nothing else to do.

Ken got jealous with my shots and tried using the camera as well. When I taught him how to pan, I told him just shoot as if you’re playing counter strike! :)) AND I WAS AMAZED WITH HIS SHOT! Look at his first try! HAHA! I’m ashamed with mine :))

God is always with us :)

It was already evening when we finally got our license. We had dinner at this place where we usually have dinner. LOL It’s not really a favorite but the place is awesome and we love the food there. The driver had to leave us because he still had to fetch my sibs and so we went home riding on a jeepney. Thus the picture taken inside the jeepney. So cute lah~

Like I said last night, I had a shoot for Detail Bydetails yesterday. I haven’t given the high-res copies to yan yan yet. I hope she’ll be happy with the photos.

While yan yan was doing her make-up. Doing the make-up facing on a very small mirror while standing. Very versatile! :D

silver moon sparkling

Yesterday, I posted about the sun. Now it’s Mr. Moon’s turn! I love the moon so much. Seeing it makes me feel calm and serene. It’s been a month since the last time I saw it beautifully reflecting itself in the sea. I even missed taking a picture of it when it was on its most beautiful phase with a star above it just like this:

I’ve been taking photos of the moon since forever and until now I haven’t taken a beautiful shot of it. My prime lens just can’t do it. I can’t afford a tele lens.

Here are my collection of the photos I’ve taken with Mr. Moon as the subject. Most of them have already been posted here. I just want to share it again to my new followers in case you haven’t read my previous posts.

This photo was taken last November 16, 2008. I was inside my room. When I opened the door, I went WOW! I was stunned.

And this one was taken last October 17, 2008. Wow! It’s quite an old photo already. I was too tired to go outside. I was staring at it from my room.

As you may have noticed, I always include its reflection at the sea when I take a picture of it. It’s one thing that makes me fall in love with the moon even more! Its sparkling reflection in the sea! :D

This one’s quite similar with the previous photo but this was taken last October 6, 2009. The reflection is ruined by the boat TT.TT

This is my almost-favorite shot of the moon. Prolly because of the man’s silhouette. The other version of this can be found here! (CLICK). I was inspired when I took this photo. Take note, “WAS”. So, that was history! He had his chance! LOL

I failed to continue taking photos of the moon last year due to my practicum. I wasn’t staying in our house. I continued taking a photo of it this year.

This one was taken last March 3, 2010. It’s not focused properly. LOL FAIL D:

And this one was taken last March 28, 2010. I got tired of taking the same composition over and over again no matter how I love looking at its reflection at the sea. I tried hard to take a photo of it artistically. LOL

Don’t you find this one familiar? This was posted few weeks ago. Taken last March 30, 2010. Two days after I took the previous one. LOL Can’t get enough of its beauty!

The moon, sharing its beauty at the sea! Lovely silhouettes! I’d love to make a project about silhouettes. HMMM. :) This was taken last May 1, 2010. What a good way to start May! :D

The following day, May 2, 2010, the moon showed itself again! Aaaaah! It’s so lovely!

This one was different, the colors are quite creepy but it’s still lovely! Taken last Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010.

And this is my all-time favorite! This was taken last June 7, 2009 in Shangri-la. My only photo of the moon that wasn’t taken in our house. LOL I remember I had to be absent on my practicum just to spend a weekend with my family in Shangri-La Mactan. I love this because I was able to form a heart using slow shutter! Weee! ^__^

So that’s it! I hope I’ll be able to take a picture of the moon perfectly and share it with you guys! :D

I love the sun as much as I love the moon! That’s why I love backlighting effects on pictures using natural light :D Here are some of the pictures I’ve taken using the said effect.

This is my ever trustworthy photobuddy-slash-very-good-friend Paolo. This was taken during our second shoot with our friend, Marjorie Go which has also been mentioned in my previous posts here in tumblr. He was still using his Nikon D60 then. Now he has Canon 500D! Yay for Canon users! :D

So that’s the backlighting effect, I guess. I still need to practice though. D: Nothing much to post today because I failed to bring my camera. Kentot and I got new student’s permit today coz ours was expired already. We got it somewhere far but fun! Hahaha! Had lunch like fiesta. I failed to bring my camera! Darn it! While waiting in line, my phone saved us from boredom. We played snakes. Haha! Silly! I was about to sell my one week old Samsung Corby PRO B5310 last week but my cousin convinced me not to. So there. I’m using it again! :)

This is my current FB profile picture. I look obviously sad. LOL. I needed my friends so badly tonight but nobody was there. I understand that most of them might be busy. It’s just sad. I wanted to spend time with them because I won’t be able to spend my birthday with them and I’m leaving tomorrow. I’m suppose to treat some of them tonight but money doesn’t permit me. So that’s why.

Anyhow, that’s the view outside my our Logic room in CAFA room cb3. It looks boring. The subject is somehow boring but you’ll learn a lot from it.

While we were checking our test papers, I got bored so i took photos. This quote says:

Relationships can never be perfect. You can never force your partner to be faithful in the same way that a normal relationship should be. What’s important is that at the end of the day, you find each other side by side and you’re happy knowing that he/she is yours. We need to enjoy the relationship while it’s there. For if you waste your time in doubts and insecurities, you’ll never appreciate how wonderful it is to fall in love.

HECK NO! I don’t believe this! As what the taxi driver told me while I was riding on his cab on my way to SM to meet the boyfriend, he said “If a guy is really serious then he should be happy with having ONLY you and won’t be spending time and attention to anyone else.” (He stated these words in our own dialect btw.) We got into this conversation because he was asking if I already have a boyfriend and how’s our relationship. HAHA. Weird. I think he was just trying to entertain me because I got sad. My sandals were broken. And I told him that I’m so malas because my birthday’s coming up and I won’t be able to spend it with my friends here. Plus my sandals were useless.

The test paper I checked. HAHA.

After our exam, as I said I went to SM to meet the boyfriend. He gave me a really wonderful gift that’s so one of a kind in this planet! HAHAHA. Thank you dragooon! :D I really like it! :3

After dinner, we went to IT park and bought an alternative for my sandals. Then went home right away because he had to rest. He has work later at 11pm. I called few of my friends but there was no answer. I wanted to spend time with them. But oh well. That’s fine.

It was around 1:30 a.m. while I was staring on our ceiling and my mind went crazy. LOL I wanted to do something amazing before I sleep. I grabbed my camera and decided to make use of the light and draw-slash-write with it. I had several fail attempts of this. Err, is it readable enough? LOL I had a good sleep because of this. Made my day productive.

On my way to school, I was amazed by the huge clouds again :) But this picture didn’t give justice D:

Before school, we dropped my sister off to her guitar lessons in SM and my brother and I had ice creeeeaaaam <3

There’s that grin again D: And that’s how I sit inside the car. Pardon me.

In our Logic class, I learned something beautiful.

According to our professor, “Love is not blind. In fact, it sees more. Because it sees more, it is willing to see less. Because it sees less, it understands every imperfection.”

Our professor never fails to give interesting ideas. I don’t regret that I failed when I first took this subject. This is the second time I have taken this subject by the way. My professor before was err never mind. When he discuss things, it’s as if he’s only talking to himself. Okay so much for that.

I miss a lot of people today. I miss hanging out with my friends and have lunch where we used to. But I especially miss the boyfriend. It’s been so long since the last time we spent time together. How long? Like last monday. HAHA.

And it’s official! :D Fretzie has entered the house of PBB :D Let’s all support our fellow cebuano :D

After Rose and I had lunch in Ayala, we strolled around the mall and saw this guy wearing the same color with my shirt. I asked her to take a picture of us. LOL Sorry, sir. D: Rose bought the book, The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks which I am ought to borrow soon. Heee :3

And then I met with the boyfriend in Robinson’s. He then took me to their house. He prepared sandwiches for me. And also climbed up the Indian Mango tree. I went home looking like someone who sells Mangoes inside the bus or somewhere bringing a really big plastic bag of mangoes. But nonetheless, it’s worth it. All thanks to his mother for the mangoes. Mangoes are LOVE. Too bad he didn’t want to be taken a picture while climbing up the tree.

He loves playing with my hair. That idk why. It smells bad, it’s messy and it does not go in place. Silly.

Anyhow, I tried to be a useful photographer today. LOL Finally, some random photos together. Hurr hurr :3 Pardon the bad quality of photos. I just used my cellphone camera which has really bad quality. I asked my mum a Lumix Lx3 for my bday so I’d have a good camera that I can bring anytime and anywhere. I hope I can have it. It’s really hard bringing a DSLR everyday which is way heavy and space-consuming. Also, I often bring along lighter bag because it’s summer. I don’t go for leather bags anymore.

So that was much about my day. I’m gonna watch PBB Teen Edition tonight because one of my models before is entering the house, I guess. But I’m not sure about it. She didn’t really officially announce it since I think it’s prohibited.
